Sartaj is an operator and leadership advisor with extensive experience in growth, business transformations, and change management—gained through his career chapters in leadership development, portfolio company oversight, transformation consulting, turnaround management, and entrepreneurship. He currently serves as an Executive Coach, Advisor, and Facilitator for leadership development engagements at high-performing organizations. As an Executive Coach, Sartaj partners with senior executives to define their leadership vision, embrace growth opportunities, and navigate change. As an Executive Advisor, he provides actionable approaches to specific professional challenges and shares best practices. As a Facilitator, he delivers interactive workshops or masterclasses focused on Communication & Relationships, People Leadership, Personal Leadership, and Problem-Solving & Executive Synthesis.

Previously, Sartaj served as Head of Organizational Health at Teamshares, a mission-driven fintech company that addresses wealth inequality by buying successful small businesses from retiring owners and transitioning them to employee ownership. He also stepped in as interim president of a business ahead of transitioning it to a full-time leader. Before that, Sartaj was a Consultant in McKinsey's Transformation practice, where he focused on driving holistic performance improvement for organizations across industries. In that capacity, he partnered with clients to impact not only operations, but also the mindsets and capabilities needed to sustain change.

Earlier in his career, Sartaj led an investor-backed turnaround of a niche manufacturer of critical communications systems for global aviation, maritime, and peacekeeping organizations. He has also founded, grown, and transitioned two healthcare ventures in patient monitoring and medical supply chain.

Sartaj is an accredited ICF Coach and holds an Executive Certificate in Leadership Coaching from Georgetown University, an MBA from INSEAD, and a BS in International Economics from the Georgetown University School of Foreign Service. He has experience in over 70 countries across the US, Latin America, Europe, Africa, and Asia.
