Dr. Rowan Bradford

Executive Coach, Facilitator and Trainer, Chartered Psychologist, OD & Culture Specialist

Rowan is a leadership psychologist and executive coach based in the UK, working with senior leaders, teams, and organizations globally. With over two decades of experience, she brings deep expertise in leadership assessment and development, organizational culture and the people side of change.

Her approach is both evidence-based and practical. Rowan creates a space of psychological safety where clients can challenge assumptions, gain insight, and make meaningful, sustained change. She works particularly with leaders navigating complexity, helping them lead authentically and confidently, whether that involves addressing unhelpful patterns, having critical conversations or adapting their approach to meet evolving organizational demands.

Rowan combines psychological theory with real-world application, supporting clients in strengthening self-awareness, enhancing their impact and developing more effective leadership approaches. She works one-on-one with leaders and also facilitates group coaching and leadership development programs.

She completed her PhD, focused on how people learn in organizations, at the Institute of Work Psychology at the University of Sheffield, before spending 13 years at Kaisen Consulting, a boutique consultancy specializing in business psychology and leadership development with global clients. She subsequently worked as an independent consultant. Alongside this independent practice, Rowan spent 11 years owning and running a swim school for children ages 0–5, where she built and led a team of teachers and administrators and grew a client base of over 1,300 swimmers. This experience further developed her practical understanding of leadership, resilience, and stakeholder management, as well as fulfilling a personal ambition to teach live-saving skills and to support the very beginnings of long-term athlete development

Grounded in her experience as both a psychologist and business owner, Rowan tailors her approach to each person she works with. She is known for her warmth and psychological insight, alongside her ability to balance support with appropriate challenge. Her work often focuses on supporting leaders through transitions in role, career or life stage, and helping individuals maintain effectiveness during periods of organizational change.

Rowan has worked with leaders across a range of sectors, including corporate, pharmaceutical and sporting environments. When not at work, she can be found in her flower field growing row upon row of dahlias for florists and flower arrangers.
