Before becoming an executive coach, Rick spent more than a decade advising Fortune 500 companies, government agencies, and high-growth organizations as a strategy and operations consultant with Deloitte Consulting and CapTech Ventures. This background allows him to understand the practical realities senior leaders face and partner with them in solving complex organizational challenges.

Rick’s perspective on leadership is also shaped by his extensive mountain climbing experience. After surviving a serious climbing accident in 2018, he gained a deeper appreciation for leadership and communication when the margin for error is thin. That experience continues to inform how he helps leaders stay grounded, thoughtful, and effective when the pressure is real.

Rick serves as Executive-in-Residence and Adjunct Faculty at the University of Richmond’s Robins School of Business, where he teaches leadership and decision-making in the MBA program.
