Ekaterina has always been guided by a mission to help people. Early on, faced with the choice between becoming a physician or pursuing research, she followed the path of science through a PhD, driven by a commitment to develop breakthrough medicines for challenging diseases.

For more than 15 years, she led global R&D teams across pharmaceutical, biotech and startup sectors, advancing the development of innovative medicines for oncology patients. She considers her most meaningful achievement the development of therapies that contributed to clinical remission in end-stage melanoma patients.

During her leadership tenure at Roche in Basel, Switzerland, amid the COVID-19 pandemic, Ekaterina expanded her passion for helping patients into a broader mission of helping people. She transformed her department’s ways of leading and working by empowering self-organization, strengthening relational dynamics and aligning teams around a shared purpose.

Today, she brings that scientific depth and international leadership experience into coaching. Her work helps leaders turn competence into confidence and authority, and helps teams move from pressure and change fatigue into resilience, cohesion and high performance. Her approach blends neuroscience, proven coaching methodologies and deep transformational work.

Renowned for her engaging presence, Ekaterina regularly speaks at international conferences and workshops, sharing insights on modern leadership, confidence, resilience and energy management.

A New Zealander of Ukrainian and Russian heritage, Ekaterina has lived and worked in the USA and Germany. She now resides in Basel, Switzerland, with her partner and children. She speaks English and is conversational in German and Russian.
