Bill Bressette brings nearly 30 years of experience working with individuals, teams and organizations across a variety of industries in both the private and public sector.  As an executive coach, he focuses on leading through change and helping individuals bring empathy, authenticity and clear communication to the challenges they face.   

As a former managing partner and board member at a top ten accounting and consulting firm, Bill is adept at working in complex, fluid environments where the ground is often shifting beneath a leader’s feet.  He also brings an understanding of client service that has been informed by decades of high stakes work with Fortune 100 companies—he understands the challenges leaders face.  Bill also believes that self-awareness, empathy and authenticity are key components of good leadership, and that as leaders, we must bring our whole selves into our work.  Often that involves examining our narratives and limiting beliefs about ourselves and others with whom we engage. 

Bill enters into his coaching engagements in a way that honors each individual’s unique experience, beliefs, and background, creating a safe but challenging environment to explore areas that will lead to growth and measurable impacts for individuals and teams.  He takes a holistic approach to executive coaching that helps his clients expand their understanding of themselves, their teams, and the environment in which they operate.  He believes that growth is only found by leaning into discomfort and challenging ourselves to question and examine the assumptions that have brought us to where we are today.  Bill approaches this from a place of deep listening, empathy and curiosity, serving as a thought partner and advocate for his clients on their journeys.

Bill is a Navy veteran who has spent a great deal of time abroad both personally and professionally.  He is a PADI certified rescue diver and enjoys sailing on the Chesapeake Bay.  He continues to give back through service organizations, including Team Rubicon, an organization that provides disaster relief and is comprised of veterans and first responders.
