Carrie O’Neil is an executive coach, facilitator, and trainer who partners with purpose-driven and purpose-seeking leaders across public, private, and nonprofit sectors. She helps individuals and teams navigate complexity, reconnect with core values, and challenge long-held assumptions in service of lasting impact. Known for her deep presence and thoughtful approach, Carrie balance support and challenge to help clients increase self-awareness, shift limiting perspectives, and lead with clarity and alignment.
Carrie brings two decades of experience in leadership development and experiential learning. She most recently served as Adjunct Leadership Faculty at the Federal Executive Institute, facilitating transformational leadership programs for senior federal executives. She is also an accomplished team coach and group facilitator, with expertise in building inclusive team cultures, strengthening collaboration, and guiding teams through productive conflict. Her background in mediation, anti-racism facilitation, and international peacebuilding uniquely positions her to help teams navigate difficult dynamics with honesty and care.
Before launching her coaching practice, Carrie spent 15+years leading strategy, learning initiatives, and genderequity programs across 25+ countries affected by conflict.Her work in international development and peacebuildingincluded designing global leadership initiatives, managinglarge-scale development programs, and advising oninclusive governance. Carrie is an ICF-certified Associate Certified Coach (ACC) and holds advanced degrees from Harvard and Columbia.
